We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dependent Verification Project Manager to support our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. In addition, this position will involve reviewing documentation, communicating with employees, and maintaining accurate records.
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $65,000-$70,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time reporting.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal teams, clients and vendors to ensure alignment on project status.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to audit team.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Review and process dependent verification documentation submitted by employees.
- Communicate with employees regarding missing or insufficient documentation, deadlines, and verification outcomes via phone and/or email.
- Maintain detailed records of all verification activities in internal systems.
- Handle escalated ineligible dependents or questionable documentation to the Benefits Manager for review.
- Run reporting and provide state updates on projects.
- Coordinate mailings related to verification notices, reminders, and results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in benefits administration, HR, or healthcare verification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, and other benefits-related regulations is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment or remote setting.
- May require extended screen time and use of standard office equipment.
